Read 20’s Favorite Read-Aloud Books!

Babies Love Board Books, the pictures, the textures, the taste, the fact that you introduce them and engage with them. Start them out with your favorite board books as soon as your baby is born (*note: some parents start even sooner). Let them feel, hold, touch and experience the book for themselves sometimes – teach them to turn the pages. Babies love to hear your voice! They should be exposed to all the various sounds that make up our human language, as well as the tones, timbres, and phrasing that make language emotionally interesting and useful for communication. Board books generally include the basic building blocks of language and learning – and trust us – they’re listening! So, Read! Sing! Play! Do it your way! Make it fun! Quit when they get bored or overwhelmed – there is no need to insist upon finishing a narrative story when they’re not into it, or for that matter, to do anything that will sour the experience.
